The 44th Digital Avionics Systems Conference (DASC) invites competitive tutorial proposals on emerging and impactful topics in aviation and aerospace systems. Selected tutorials will be delivered in person on September 13–14, 2026, in conjunction with DASC 2026 in Orlando, Florida.

Important Dates
Tutorials are expected to provide practical, technical, and forward-looking content that benefits researchers, practitioners, and decision-makers in the avionics and aerospace community. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, advanced avionics, autonomy, AI/ML applications, certification and safety, cybersecurity and resilience, integrated CNS/ATM, and emerging operational concepts. Tutorials will be scheduled in 3-hour slots (typically two 80-minute sessions with a 20-minute break) between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM.

Tutorial Proposal Format
Proposals should concisely describe the tutorial content, objectives, and value to the DASC community. Submissions must not exceed 5 pages, single-spaced, 12-pt font, and should include the following:
Title – Clear and descriptive tutorial title.
Overview – Abstract, learning objectives, and relevance to DASC.
Audience – Intended audience and assumed background.
Presenters – Names, affiliations, and brief biographies.
Topics Covered – Key technical and conceptual areas addressed.
Outline – Structured content outline with tentative timing
Format – Delivery approach (e.g., lecture, hands-on, demonstrations).
Participant Requirements – Prerequisites, software, or materials.
Provided Materials – Handouts, digital content, or tools (conference provides meeting rooms and AV equipment).
Duration – Standard 3 hours; justify if additional time is requested.
Presenter Experience – Relevant expertise and prior experience.
Previous Offerings – If previously presented at DASC, describe updates and differences.
Tutorial Proposal Submission
Proposals must be submitted as a single PDF file via email to the Professional Education/Tutorial Program Chair.
Selection Considerations
Tutorials will be evaluated based on technical quality and clarity; relevance and timeliness; anticipated attendee value; presenter expertise; and, alignment with DASC themes.
