Felipe is a professor with background on embedded systems, intra-chip communication architectures, real-time operating systems (RTOS), hardware description, silicon photonics and cyber-security. He has a double PhD degree in Computer Engineering from Université de Montréal - Ecole Polytechnique de Montréal and Computer Science from Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul. His research interests are (but not limited to) integrated silicon photonics, real-time systems, simulation models, avionics systems and cyber-security.
