Michael is a Distinguished Technical Fellow for High Assurance Systems technology at GE Aerospace Research in Niskayuna, New York. He has been at GEAR since 1999 in various engineering leadership roles. He has a BSEE and MSEE from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. In his current role, he is focused on developing technologies and tools that ensure the functionality, security, and trustworthiness of critical software and systems, including those involving artificial intelligence, machine learning, and quantum computing.
